To remove background noise from audio in DaVinci Resolve 19, follow these steps:

Using Fairlight Audio Noise Reduction

  1. Switch to Fairlight Page

    • Open DaVinci Resolve and go to the Fairlight workspace by clicking the Fairlight tab at the bottom.
  2. Select the Audio Clip

    • Click on the track containing the audio you want to clean.
  3. Apply Noise Reduction

    • Open the Effects Library (if not visible, enable it from the top menu).
    • Go to Audio FX > Fairlight FX and find Noise Reduction.
    • Drag and drop Noise Reduction onto the audio track.
  4. Adjust Noise Reduction Settings

    • Click on the Noise Reduction effect in the inspector panel.
    • Use the Learn Mode (if available) to detect noise.
