To remove background noise from audio in DaVinci Resolve 19, follow these steps:
Using Fairlight Audio Noise Reduction
Switch to Fairlight Page
- Open DaVinci Resolve and go to the Fairlight workspace by clicking the Fairlight tab at the bottom.
Select the Audio Clip
- Click on the track containing the audio you want to clean.
Apply Noise Reduction
- Open the Effects Library (if not visible, enable it from the top menu).
- Go to Audio FX > Fairlight FX and find Noise Reduction.
- Drag and drop Noise Reduction onto the audio track.
Adjust Noise Reduction Settings
- Click on the Noise Reduction effect in the inspector panel.
- Use the Learn Mode (if available) to detect noise.
- Adjust the Threshold, Reduction, and Smoothing sliders to minimize background noise without affecting voice clarity.

- Play the audio and tweak the settings to balance noise removal and voice clarity
